Hybrid Technology
The Hybrid platform presents the same characteristics as the Dual Interface platform but contains two distinct chips (a contact chip and a contactless chip) instead of a single chip.
The contact chip is linked to the module’s contact pads (ISO contacts).
The contactless chip is linked to the module’s antenna, and use inductive coupling with the E-Booster ® .
With the standard processes, the contactless electronic is inserted in the card during the first steps of the inlay manufacturing. The scraps level during these critical phases (printing, lamination) is very important, a lot of chips are wasted and the implementation of the process is difficult.
Our solution enables to place the chips in the card at the last step of the card manufacturing process. With this «Good module on Good cards» concept, you will use the most cost effective process on the market.
