The patent office (INPI) of the provence alpes cote d'azur region awards four winners

The 10th edition of the Patent Office Innovation Prizes honored today three small firms and one research unit for their dynamic politics in terms of innovation and patent right.

A partnership convention was signed for this occasion between the regional authority and the Patent Office to promote and develop intellectual and property rights among small and medium firms which brought together in cooperation strategies within innovation, economical and interdependent development regional sections.

The companies SMART PACKAGING SOLUTIONS, TORDO BELGRANO, MXM and the research unit UMAGT were rewarded at the city hall in the presence of Pascal DUYCK, head of the regional action department at the Patent Office and Michele TREGAN, regional consultant for employment in the PACA region.

The jury decided to award three small firms and one research unit which grew up together with the patent right.

For small and medium companies:

Smart Packaging Solutions (SPS), whose CEO is Henri BOCCIA, is located in Rousset and designs, manufactures and sells micromodules on flexible substrates, smartcards and multi component modules.

These three companies will compete nation-wide for the Patent Office innovation prizes that will be awarded in Paris at the beginning of next year.”
